ANN Interview

Anime News Network has posted a very extensive interview with our production team during our attendance at Sakura-Con.

Some of you may have already read the article, but here is the link on the ANN website:

There’s also a transcription of our panel:

The UTD video interview with The-O Network Online will be coming up next!
(The photo is a screen shot of the video interview.)

Last week, we had a soft-launch of Under the Dog Community Forum on our website. Although we had issues of some eligible backers unable to register or edit their profile pages, these problems are already taken care of.

Now, we would like to move on to welcome our backers who are on COVERT OPERATIVE tier and above to register on our Forum. (This includes CASE OFFICER tier as well.) With these two tiers combined, the number of eligible backers to register this week is roughly 500. As you can see, we are gradually increasing the number of backers to access the Forum.

We already have a few posts and exchanges have started on the Forum. You can also read a short message from Ogasawara-san (Kinema Citrus President). So if you have registered already, make sure to check it out!

Here’s how you can access the Forum (if you are eligible):
When you go to our website, you will see “FORUM” is being added to the menu on the left at the bottom. Click on “FORUM” to go to the Log In page.
Or, you can go to the Forum page from the link below.

Important notes

  • The forum is for our backers only. (Essentially, you must have AGENT tier or above to access the Forum. All backers with AGENT tier and above will be able to access the Forum eventually.)
  • There won’t be a Forum in Japanese but you can use Japanese fonts. However, we ask our backers to communicate primarily in English for everyone’s sake.

Nice article. This interview is really interesting! I have to mention though, 90’s anime style is still liked a lot here(I’m in France), and the serious/dark/original anime are what’s most bought instead of moe. Things like Gurren Lagann, Ghost in the Shell, Psycho-Pass, Space battleship Yamato and such, instead of the moe stuff. So hey, you’ll have quite some success here I think!
